My name is Jennifer Frey
My pledge is to bring integrity, fairness, and trust to the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections office. I am passionate about protecting our solemn right to vote. The right to vote and have faith in that vote is the
bedrock for all other rights that make this, our great country, so special. You can count on me!
We are in an era where public trust in our election system has been strained, so I have stepped forward to become St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections. I have a mission to restore faith in the electoral process. We must recognize the critical importance of ensuring that every vote islegally cast and accurately counted.
How did things get so bad?
Since 2012, St. Lucie County has grappled with a series of election challenges, including multiple recounts, misdeclaration of winners, allegations of bias, uninvestigated voter fraud claims, misplaced ballots, unqualified candidates, omitted races on ballots, compromised ballot wording, and concerns over security at voting sites. Meanwhile, neighboring Martin and Indian River counties have maintained unblemished election records. Why can’t we?
More than ever, it is very important that we restore faith in our election process. We need to be sure that every vote is a legal vote, cast by the person entitled to cast that vote, and that every vote is counted…once.
Sincerely,
